Joseph Kan, DDS, MS
Dr. Kan completed in Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He is a Professor and maintains a private practice limited to Prosthodontics and Implant surgery. He is on the Editorial Board of The International Journal of periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, and The European Journal of Esthetic Dentistry. Dr. Kan honors include the Best Research Award from the Academy of Osseointegration in 1997, the Judson Hinckey Award from the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry in 2003 and the Robert James Implant Achievement Award in 2005. Besides lecturing nationally and internationally, he has published over 70 articles in reference journals and chapters in textbooks with emphasis on periodontal tissue management, immediate tooth replacement and treatment planning on implant esthetics.

Dr. Periklis Proussaefs D.D.S
Dr. Periklis Proussaefs received his DDS degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1993. He obtained a certificate in Implant Dentistry and a specialty certificate in Prosthodontics from Loma Linda University in 2000. In 2001, he completed his Master’ degree in Prosthodontics. Dr Proussaefs has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles in the dentalliterature, and has been serving as an editorial Board member for the Journal of ProstheticDentistry, the Journal of Oral Implantology, and the Journal of Prosthodontics. He has been the innovator and creditor of several surgical and prosthodontic techniques: The “Loma Linda pouch”, the “Loma Linda stent”, the “combination prosthesis” the “combined prosthesis” the “guided soft tissue healing technique” are some of the innovative principles and techniques that Dr. Proussaefs has introduced in the dental literature. He is the recipient of the prestigious Tylman award by the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics in 2002, twice the Judson C. Hickey Scientific Writing Award by the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry in 2002 and 2016, and the Robert James award in 2015. Since 2001, he has been serving as an Associate Professor at the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda University.
